Set of two structures that can be attached to the MONDO basketball baskets, the purpose of which is to adapt the height of the rim to both basketball (3.05 meters) and minibasketball (2.60 meters).
Each adapter is attached on one side to the basket structure itself and on the other to the Backboard. It is made entirely of steel profiles and consists of a main structure, a lifting unit and a drive crank.
The main structure, made of rectangular section steel profiles, has four fixing points to the basket. Includes two bushings for guiding the Backboard axes in their vertical adjustment movement.
The lifting assembly is located between the Backboard frame and the main structure. It is actually a spindle and trapezoidal threaded nut mechanism that, when activating the first, transforms the turning movement provided by the crank, into a linear movement of descent-ascent of the frame that supports the backboard on the guides.
In this way, the main structure attached to the basket remains fixed and it is the backboard that varies its height, limiting its travel thanks to some stops that prevent the Backboard from rising above the height of the basketball or descending below it under the minibasket.
Both the connecting elements and both shafts are supplied in steel and with a zinc-plated type surface coating. The product is painted with polyester powder paint, which is applied after degreasing treatment, which takes place in pressurised phosphatising bath, and polymerised in oven at 200 ºC.
Note: a kit consisting of two adapter units and a drive handle is supplied.
