Designed, manufactured and approved in accordance with the Regulations of the International Association of Athletics Federations (WA Certificate: E-99-0188).
The standard consists of a set of two uprights with their respective rails for horizontal movement.
The baserail is a guiding structure made of steel profiles. The two longitudinal profiles in the base rail are “U” section and the base of the upright moves between them.
The base of the upright is also made of steel and has four polypropylene wheels so that it can move along the length of the rail and another four that function as a guide and avoid contact between metal pieces. It has a blocking system that fixes it in the position requested by the athlete.
This position is indicated by a ruled sticker on the rail. Finally, the base has a vertical steel profile which the upright is screwed onto and two tie-rod that brace the structure against lateral stress.
The uprights are made from an oval cross-section profile of extruded aluminium (120 x 100 mm) and there is a groove for the crossbar support to move along. The crossbar support can be moved manually with a handle which works an internal strap connected to the crossbar support. The mechanism has a brake knob and a viewer to see the height at which the crossbar has been positioned.
The crossbar support is made of aluminium and has a telescopic design which allows for adjustment to landing areas of different widths.
The adjustment device of the upright and the base allows to set a height between 172 and 645 cm and at a depth between 0 and 80 cm behind the zero line.
The bases, rails, uprights and crossbar supports have a powder paint coating. All bolts and nuts are made of stainless steel.
