Seven-height training hurdle, made of a base formed by two parallel L-shaped profiles connected by a welded horizontal tube, manufactured using circular section steel profiles, bent at 90º. At the vertical ends of both tubes there is a positioning system to facilitate different heights of the crossbar, depending on how the base is placed.
The blocking system, of our own design, is comprised of a spring and a bolt, both made of stainless steel, housed in an injected nylon casing which is inserted into the tubes. This innovative design is based on the interchangeability of the crossbar system, namely that the part that supports the hurdle in one position becomes a vertical support the other. The first position gives heights of 520, 600, 670 y 760 mm and the other position gives heights of 838, 910 y 1000 mm.
This system is made up of a main structure, the crossbar mechanism and 2 profiles which act as counterweights. The main structure, made of circular section steel profiles, includes positioning systems, both for the crossbar and the counterweights. These are located at the ends of the structure.
The crossbar assembly, made of pinewood painted according to the regulations, is held in place by two special wedge-shaped pieces of injected polypropylene, in order to avoid physical damage to the athlete. The polypropylene wedges are located in the upper part of one of the circular section aluminum profiles that moves vertically, which is fixed using the bolt system described previously.
The structure is painted with polyester powder paint, which is applied after degreasing treatment, which takes place in pressurized phosphatizing bath, and polymerized in an oven at 200 ºC.
