Mondo's athletics tracks are the result of constant commitment to research into improving athletes’ performance. From world records to international events, they are confirmed as the preferred choice not only of the organizers of sporting events but also athletes. With a story of successes and a consolidated reputation in the sector, they continue to demonstrate their superiority and support athletes in achieving their goals.
For over 40 years, Mondo's tracks have contributed to the success of athletes all over the world. With over 290 world records broken on our surfaces, our tracks continue to be synonymous with high-level performance and sporting success. In just the first quarter of 2023, four different world records were broken on Mondo tracks: from the 3,000 m record set by Lamecha Girma in Liévin to the exceptional performance of Femke Bol in the 400 m at Apeldoorn, Armand “Mondo” Duplantis’ pole vault record set in Clermont Ferrand, through to the pentathlon world record set by Nafissatou Thiam on the track in Istanbul in 2023.
Now we are eagerly waiting to see the performances at the upcoming World Championships in Budapest in August, which will be held on Mondo athletic tracks.
For the best part of 50 years, Mondo athletics tracks have been chosen by international organizing committees because they are synonymous with performance and reliability. Here are our numbers:
Many further events in the years to come will give athletes the chance to once again race on a Mondo prefabricated track, from the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships being held in Glasgow in March of next year, along with the next edition of the European Athletics Championships in Rome, as well as the U20 World Championships in Lima, Peru, being held in July 2024, the XX Mediterranean Games scheduled for Taranto in 2025, and the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland in 2026.
