Paralympics postponement and quarantine: Martina Caironi explains how she is keeping fit at home
Martina Caironi is a Paralympic athlete specialized in sprint (100m) and long jump. She won gold in Rio 2016 and London 2012 (100m). In this interview explains how she can keep her shape at home, using the Mondo prefabricated track delivered at her home few days ago. In particular, for Martina who trains in Bologna, the Italian city where pandemic restrictions will stretch beyond May 18th, training on a professional surface is fundamental: her prosthesis has built-in spikes. Being able to train on the Mondo track lets her reduce the impact on her back, thus preventing injuries. Look at her first trainings on the Mondo track
