The Meeting Internazionale Città di Savona is back

We are proud to announce that Mondo is a sponsor of the 12th edition of the Meeting Internazionale Città di Savona, which will take place on May 24th and will see great international athletes test themselves on our Mondotrack WS™: elasticity, uniform response, grip in all conditions, optimized energy response. The event is organized by Atletica Savona in collaboration with CUS Genova and is part of the Continental Tour Challenger World Athletics and the "Progetto Meeting FIDAL". The event will open the international athletics season in Italy with great competitions, great partners, a trophy associated with each specialty, and live coverage on Rai Sport. In addition, the Fontanassa Meeting will honor the great Savonese coach Giulio Ottolia by dedicating the men's and women's 100m specialties to him, and two extension jumps, the women's triple and the men's long jump, to the great coach Elio Locatelli, who passed away in 2019. The ESI Trophy will make its debut in Savona, scheduled for the men's and women's 400m. In addition, the 5th De Mari Foundation Trophy is associated with the 110m hurdles, the men's and women's 200m, while the University of Genoa will celebrate the top women's 100m hurdles, men's 400m hurdles, and women's Paralympic 100m with the UniGe Trophy. The Savona event climbed the world rankings in 2022, placing 43rd in the World Athletics meeting ranking (27th in Europe). The organizational machine is already working at full speed to prepare an excellent cast for the 15 specialties scheduled for May 24th.
