The sports facilities of the Kick Off Center in Cavallino opened to the public in May 2018, offering inhabitants of the province a complete sports structure, with quality facilities: state of the art synthetic grass fields for five-a-side, eight-a-side and eleven-a-side soccer, padel courts, gyms and an outdoor running track.
Finding a synthetic grass system that could meet FIGC requirements was fundamental for the installation of the 11-a-side football fields since one of the two fields was destined to become the home of the U.S. Lecce team, hosting their everyday work and the official matches of the Youth Team and Soccer School.
The Saturn ASN system by MONDO was therefore chosen to meet the requirements for the facility, allowing the field to be approved and used by the Giallorossi for youth team activities and possibly for the main team as well.
Satisfied, the President of U.S. Lecce, Saverio Sticchi Damiani, had this to say the day after the management contract was signed: "it is a dignified home, worthy of the youth team".
