Set of two baskets, designed, made and certificates in accordance with UNE-EN-1270 by the I B V (Biomechanics Institute of Valencia). They are also approved for Level 2 of FIBA (International Basketball Federation) competitions.
The MONDOHANGER baskets are fixed to the structure of the pavilion roof and are activated automatically from a control panel. They are made of tubular steel profiles and are made up of a vertical structure, a rear diagonal structure and the backboard subassembly. There are different options depending on the type of rim (fixed or tilting), as well as the thickness of the backboard.
The vertical structure, designed with steel profiles and lattice-shaped geometry, has a pivot point at the top that allows the unit to be lifted and folded. The main profiles of the structure have a 60x60x2 mm and 60x30x2 mm section, in order to minimize vibrations and improve behavior during play. The use of these profiles also prevents lateral oscillations during the folding and unfolding operations, thus extending the useful life of the drive motor and the guide system.
The rear diagonal structure, made with the same type of profiles as the vertical structure, is divided into two parts that are joined together by a central hinge point, where the motor pulls a cable that causes this structure to fold backwards until it is horizontal and parallel to the ground, in the storage position.
In the lower front part, we can find the Basketball Backboard. The Backboard, in turn, has a lower shield that protects the players. The control of the motorized drive for the elevation of the basket is carried out from a control panel (included with the baskets) that commands the motor that winds / unwinds the pulling cable on the drum. Both operations are restricted by limit switches that must be adjusted during installation. MONDO has control panels according to the different configurations of motorized equipment.
The product is painted with polyester powder paint, being applied after a degreasing treatment by means of a pressurized phosphating bath and polymerized in an oven at 200º C. All screws and connecting elements have been undergoing to a zinc-plated process.
The installation is carried out according to the particular characteristics of the sports hall, for which the MONDO IBÉRICA Technical Office Department studies and develops the most appropriate solution for each installation.
MONDO does not carry out the electrical wiring necessary for motorization. Consult the characteristics of the electrical installation in each case.
The additional substructure to fix the baskets to the roof trusses is made adapting to the characteristics of each case, so these are designed and priced separately.
