Mondo drew plaudits around the world for the latest update to its MondotrackTM WS athletics track that was at the centre of the action at the latest edition of the World Athletics Championships; in this article we have listed the performances carried out during the event.
However, in its role as official World Athletics Supplier, Mondo 25 different kinds of athletics equipment to be used in the Hungarian capital’s National Athletics Centre, all customized with the event's look.
Every hurdle – of which there were 80 used in each of the four hurdles races – as specially branded.
Mondo also provided the carts to move and place the hurdles with ease.
The Mondo name featured on every starting block for every track race.

This is the shot put cart WA being used during the women’s heptathlon (silver medallist Anna Hall’s individual implement is 3rd from the right).
It is made up of a main body of polyethylene with metal supports in steel. Equipped with four wheels, the rear ones are swivel and the front ones, somewhat larger, are fixed. All of them have a smooth rubber tread and are mounted on axles, allowing the movement of the cart.
Mondo provided high jump and pole vault standards, cross bars, landing areas, covers and measuring devices.

Mondo also provided starting blocks, steeplechase barriers, starter’s podium, relay batons. race walking caution paddles, discus and hammer cages, and throwing rings.
Mondo’s multitude of different equipment made the World Athletics Championships happen.
