New World Record on Mondo!

An event full of great results on the Mondo Hydraulic track was staged at the Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais meeting, stage of the World Indoor Tour; here are the most exciting results:

• Ethiopian Gudaf Tsegay in the 1500m swept away the previous world record of compatriot Genzebe Dibaba by running an astonishing 3:53.09
• Ethiopian Getnet Wale came very close to breaking the world record of 3000 meters , one of those considered most unattainable, stopping the clock at 7:24.98
• Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen set the new European 1500m record with an excellent 3: 31.80
• Cuban Juan Miguel Echevarria achieved the best performance of the season in the long jump
• Seasonal Best on the women's 3000 meters by Ethiopian Lemlem Hailu (8: 32.55)
• North American Record for Grant Holloway in the 60m hurdles

During the event, 7 meeting records were beaten on almost half of the 16 events organized; in addition, 7 world leads and 5 European leads were beaten. #MONDOSupportsAthletes
