Supercourt® XN is the surface of champions; it is a next-generation artificial turf surface which combines two complementary texturized monofilaments, STX and XNOVA, to guarantee padel players an optimum playing speed and dimensional memory of the court.
The reduction in linear and rotational friction guarantees greater ease of movement for players and maximum consistency in angular and vertical bounce. The texturized filaments fully encapsulate the sand inside the turf, minimizing fiber wear.
In addition to being an unmissable tournament, the nine days of the Major at Rome's Foro Italico made history in this by-now very popular sport, an event made possible thanks to the teamwork of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, Italian sports development body Sport e Salute, the International Padel Federation, and Premier Padel, with the support of Dipartimento Sport, the City of Rome, and Region of Lazio
The 2023 BNL Italy Major Premier Padel was one of the largest and most important world padel tournaments ever, and the organizers managed to improve on the success of last year's event, where the chosen court surface was Supercourt® XN, with even more impressive numbers:
The Rome tournament also featured a noteworthy first: the addition of the women's event has given greater credibility to the circuit itself (as FIP president Luigi Carraro also pointed out), with participation of female players providing greater interest and value for the event, which has thus become the first combined tournament on the circuit.
